An Arsenal of Immune Defenders
In Your Gut

As a doctor interested in preventive medicine, I am always on the look-out for ways to improve my patients’ resistance to illness and minimize their need for doctor visits. That’s why I became so excited when I learned about the many uses of Colon Pure, a proprietary blend of live bacterial cultures and highly purified non-digestible fructooligosaccharides (FOS).
I count Colon Pure as one of the major breakthroughs in dietary supplements in recent years. Colon Pure addresses important health issues that can help to make adults and children healthier and more resistant to problems associated with the colon, irritable bowel syndrome, and diabetes, all of which are increasing at alarming rates among members of our generation and that of our children.

Important to Use
with Antibiotics
When adults and children are prone to chronic infectious illnesses, it is likely they are frequently being prescribed antibiotics. Make no mistake. The use of antibiotics is necessary and good.
However, we also know that high dosages of antibiotics and especially those with a broad spectrum of action, including the tetracyclines, destroy both harmful and beneficial bacteria that reside in the gastrointestinal tract.

Body Needs Friendly Bacteria
As we are beginning to recognize only belatedly, beneficial bacteria are critical to health.
Beneficial bacteria help to assimilate nutrients and produce key vitamins, as well as stimulate various immune functions that help our bodies to resist both acute and chronic diseases. There is no question that healthy populations of beneficial bacteria in our gastrointestinal system play a crucial role in maintaining overall health.

Colon Pure offers an important method of cultivating healthy intestinal flora. Colon Pure is a premiere probiotic/prebiotic formula, helping to

establish the proper balance of beneficial intestinal flora both by repopulating the gastrointestinal tract with hardy live cultures of bifidus and lactobacilli bacteria, and by feeding beneficial bacteria with FOS, a non-digestible complex sugar that is a main food that makes friendly intestinal bacteria thrive. Don’t worry, though. Friendly bacteria preferentially consume FOS, but pathogenic strains do not.

Hardy Immune Defenders
A healthy intestine in both children and adults contains billions of friendly bacteria—including up to 400 different species. Incredibly, the body’s beneficial bacteria outnumber the cells of the body by one-hundred fold!
These friendly bacteria are our first line of immune defense. They displace and fight off unfriendly bacteria and internal fungi that can set the stage for both adult and childhood illness. They even increase the body’s levels of interferon, a mighty immune-boosting hormone.

This is all very critical to our health. If harmful bacteria propagate and gain the upper hand, we will not only be prone to infectious disease but our bodies can produce toxic, carcinogenic substances. We may also suffer constipation and diarrhea.

Modern Threats to Gut Health
But here’s the problem that we face from living in a toxic world. Stress, medications and poor diet reduce friendly bacteria even further, leaving them even more vulnerable to disease.
Antibiotics can be the biggest culprits in destroying our friendly bacteria. At high dosages, they wipe out all bacteria inside your body, the good along with the bad.

Once that happens, the race is on as to which microorganisms, the good guys or the bad guys, set up shop in that empty real estate inside your gut.

Even if we don’t take antibiotics, we almost certainly consume them in animal products. Over 35 million pounds of antibiotics are produced in the U.S. each year, and animals intended for food production are given the vast bulk of them.

This is why we must be extra careful to replenish and stabilize friendly bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract.

The Colon Pure Program
When you take Colon Pure together with antibiotics and following antibiotic therapy, you are providing your gut with beneficial bacterial cultures, as well as providing the necessary “fertilizer” to enable the friendly bacteria to multiply by the millions and thrive. In essence, when we help ourselves in this way, we have positioned on our side a massive army of health defenders in our intestines that is ever on guard to protect our health.
If your immunity is low, if you are constantly taking antibiotics or even have to take them only once, be absolutely sure to use Colon Pure and protect your friendly bacteria so that they can keep protecting you!

And take Colon Pure daily or as needed to enjoy its energy- and immune-enhancing benefits.
